IMD Issues Rain Alert For Chennai Today
The India Meteorological Department has forecasted that Chennai will witness heavy rainfall with thunderstorms today. It has also issued an orange alert for districts such as Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, and Cuddalore. Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning occurred in various parts of Chennai this morning.
