Centre Makes e-KYC Mandatory For Ration Card Holders
The Central Government has announced that all individuals listed on ration cards must complete e-KYC verification. It stated that if any member fails to complete e-KYC or does not collect rice for six consecutive months, the ration card will be cancelled. Newly issued ration cardholders are also required to complete the e-KYC process without delay.
