Election Commission To Scrutinize Papers Today
The Election Commission of India said over 4,000 nominations were filed for Assembly elections in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, plus bypolls in four states. Polling is on April 9. The ECI will scrutinize papers today, and withdrawals are allowed until March 26, 3 p.m. Candidates must submit affidavits detailing assets, liabilities, and criminal records.
