Apple Rejects Government Order On Mandatory Sanchar Saathi App
The Indian government ordered smartphone makers, including Apple and Samsung, to pre-install the Sanchar Saathi app on new phones and add it to existing devices within 90 days to curb cyber fraud. According to reports, Apple will refuse, citing privacy and security risks to its iOS ecosystem. Samsung and other brands are still reviewing the directive.
