TRAI To Display Caller Names To Curb Fraudulent Calls
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has approved a big step to curb cybercrime with the implementation of 'Calling Name Presentation.' From March 2026, callers not in a recipient's contact list will have their names displayed on the screen. This initiative aims to reduce fraudulent calls and enhance caller transparency.
