ICAR Plans To Boost Egg & Meat Output Across Country
Dr. Gaur, Assistant Director General of ICAR, highlighted that India is significantly behind in egg and meat production. Currently, per capita egg production is 103 per year, below the required 180, while meat production stands at 7.4 kg against a 10.08 kg demand. He stated that scientists will be appointed to boost production and meet national requirements.
