EC Extends Deadline For SIR In Six Regions
The Election Commission has extended the deadline for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by one week in five states and one Union Territory: Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The revised schedule follows requests from the Chief Electoral Officers of these regions.
