Delhi MCD Plans 4 New Waste Plants To Cut Landfills

Delhi's Municipal Corporation has approved four new solid waste processing plants at Bhalswa, Singhola, Narela-Bawana and Okhla to reduce reliance on overflowing landfill sites. With a combined capacity of 5,100 TPD and costing ₹361.42 crore, the facilities aim to ensure fresh waste isn't dumped at landfills. Tenders have been issued, the Mayor said.
