West Bengal Tribals Hold Event To Preserve Languages
Members of two West Bengal tribal communities will spend six days in Kolkata from Monday to protect their languages from extinction. The program includes a translation workshop and is part of a University of Calcutta project on endangered languages, focusing on Lodha and Toto, which recently received Central government funding.
