Union Cabinet Approves New Airport In Kota-Bundi

The Union Cabinet approved a ₹1,507 crore greenfield airport in Kota-Bundi, Rajasthan, funded by AAI. Rajasthan will provide 1,089 acres free. The airport, handling 2 million passengers annually, aims to boost regional connectivity and economy. Completion is expected in 24 months. India’s airports doubled to 162 since 2014.
