GVMC Passes Resolution Opposing Vizag Steel Plant Privatization
The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Council passed a key resolution opposing the privatization of the Vizag Steel Plant. The resolution calls for withdrawing the privatization plan, reinstating contract workers, and ensuring raw iron ore supply to the plant.
