SC Slams Rising Trend Of Scandalous Allegations Against Judges
The Supreme Court expressed alarm over the growing trend of lawyers and litigants making baseless, scandalous allegations against judges after unfavourable rulings. Chief Justice BR Gavai said such conduct undermines judicial integrity. Accepting apologies from a litigant and two lawyers, the Court warned that this behaviour must be “strongly deprecated.”
