Top Maoist Leader Madvi Hidma Killed, Linked To 26 Attacks
Maoist leader Madvi Hidma, responsible for at least 26 attacks on security forces and civilians, was killed in an encounter in Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Sitharamaraju district near the AP-Chhattisgarh-Telangana tri-junction. Born in 1981, Hidma led the PLGA battalion, was the only Bastar tribal on the CPI Maoist central committee, and carried a ₹50 lakh bounty.
