Godavari, Krishna Rivers Swell, Telangana Project Gates Opened

Following heavy rains in Maharashtra and Karnataka, the Krishna and Godavari rivers are in full flow. Water projects in Telangana related to the Godavari and Krishna rivers—such as Nagarjuna Sagar, Sriram Sagar Project, Singur Project, Srisailam Reservoir, Nizam Sagar, and others—are full and continuing to rise. As a result, officials have opened the gates of all these projects in Telangana.
