Bomb Hoax Claims By Passenger Force United Flight Diversion
A United Airlines flight from Dallas to Chicago made an emergency landing in St. Louis after a passenger falsely claimed that his wife was carrying a bomb. Passengers were evacuated, and the bomb squad determined that there was no device. The man was subsequently detained. The plane was cleared by law enforcement and continued safely to Chicago.
