Paytm Founder Claims Meta AI Read Your WhatsApp Chats, Sparks Debate
Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma claimed Meta AI can read WhatsApp group chats. He advised users to change privacy settings. WhatsApp clarified that chats remain end-to-end encrypted and Meta AI only reads messages when triggered with “@MetaAI.” All AI features are optional. Users can disable them and use “Advanced Chat Privacy” for protection.
