Washington Mulls Putin’s Offer To Extend New START
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the United States has informed Moscow through diplomatic channels that it is reviewing President Vladimir Putin’s proposal to extend New START limits beyond February 2026. He noted that Washington has not yet provided a concrete response. According to Lavrov, the issue remains under consideration.
