Maharashtra To Hold Local Body Polls Today
Maharashtra will hold civic elections for 246 municipal councils and 42 nagar panchayats today, Dec 2, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with dry days, business closures and a paid holiday declared. Results come on Dec 3. Nearly 700 local body polls will follow over two months, including Panchayat Samitis, Zilla Parishads and major municipal corporations like Mumbai.
