New ‘Digital Lutera’ Threat Hijacks UPI Accounts
A new Android toolkit called Digital Lutera threatens UPI users in India, hijacking accounts by manipulating Android’s runtime system without altering apps. It targets SIM binding, intercepts OTPs, and bypasses two-factor authentication. Cybersecurity firm CloudSEK warns that attackers can control devices in real time, exfiltrate data via Telegram.
