Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma predicted a BJP victory in next year’s Assembly polls, mocking Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi by saying he could contest elections in Pakistan after losing. Speaking in Chamata, Nalbari, Sarma accused the Congress of politicizing singer Zubeen Garg’s death and defending “Miyas” involved in land encroachments.
