DGCA Suggests Stricter, Faster Refund Rules For Airlines
DGCA has proposed major changes to air ticket refunds, allowing passengers to cancel or modify bookings within 48 hours without extra charges, except fare differences. Airlines must process refunds in 21 working days, and name corrections within 24 hours will be free. Medical emergencies may get refunds or credit shells. Feedback invited till November 30.
