Thai Cargo Ship Struck In Strait Of Hormuz, 20 Crew Saved

The Thai-flagged cargo ship Mayuree Naree, bound for Gujarat, was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz by an unidentified projectile. The strike caused a fire onboard. The Omani navy rescued 20 of the 23 crew members, while three remained on the vessel. The blaze was later brought under control. The ship is owned by Precious Shipping.
