Telangana Seeks 3‑Month Extension For Current Chief Secretary

The Telangana govt has asked the central government to extend Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao’s tenure by three months until June 2026. Rao’s current extension ends March 31; the state cites continuity for its 99‑day Praja Palana‑Pragati programme as the reason for the plea. Telangana also noted similar extensions in other states.
