Iran War: Strait Of Hormuz Could Reopen Under Draft Peace Deal
Iran and the United States have been presented with a draft proposal from Egyptian, Pakistani and Turkish mediators calling for a 45‑day ceasefire and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to create space for negotiations to end the ongoing Middle East war. Both sides have yet to respond to the offer, and it’s unclear if the terms will be accepted.
