SC To Examine Centre’s Plea On Struck-Down IT Rules
The Supreme Court has agreed to examine the Centre’s appeal against the Bombay High Court verdict that struck down amendments to the Information Technology Rules related to regulating “fake or misleading” online content about the government. However, the top court refused to stay the High Court’s ruling and issued notices to petitioners.
