A mild earthquake of 4.0 magnitude struck Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba region at 4:39 am today, with a depth of 10 km, according to the National Center for Seismology. No casualties were reported. This followed an earlier 3.3 magnitude tremor at 3:27 am, marking the second quake to hit the region within an hour.
