Cyclone Ditwah caused three deaths in Tamil Nadu—two from wall collapses and one due to electrocution. Heavy rains submerged 57,000 hectares of farmland, killed 149 cattle, and damaged 234 huts across delta districts. The government deployed 28 disaster response teams, with 10 more from other states, to assist relief and rehabilitation in the worst-affected areas.
