Court Pushes Maharashtra Civic Poll Results To Dec 21
The Bombay High Court's Nagpur Bench directed that results of all Nagar Parishad and Nagar Panchayat elections in Maharashtra be declared on December 21 to maintain uniformity. Nearly 20 civic polls were deferred to December 20 due to legal issues. The court also allowed exit polls 30 minutes after voting and extended the Model Code of Conduct.
