IMD Issues Cyclone Alert For Andaman And Nicobar
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands due to a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal. The system is expected to intensify starting today. Heavy to very heavy rainfall, ranging from 7 to 20 cm, is likely in Nicobar, while Andaman may receive between 7 and 11 cm.
