SC Closes Case Against Ashoka University Professor Mahmudabad
The Supreme Court closed criminal proceedings against Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad over his social media posts on Op Sindoor. Haryana govt, following the court’s suggestion, refused sanction for prosecution as a one-time magnanimity. Mahmudabad was earlier arrested in May 2025, granted interim bail, and investigated by a SIT.
