Senior Citizen Loses ₹1.09 Lakh To Fake D-Mart Facebook Ad
A 75-year-old Habsiguda resident lost ₹1.09 lakh after clicking a fake D-Mart ad on Facebook offering groceries for ₹298. He downloaded an APK sent on WhatsApp and entered his credit card details, allowing fraudsters to make three transactions before his cards were blocked. Police urged citizens to avoid suspicious links and report cyber fraud to 1930.
