SC Orders Removal Of Stray Dogs Near Schools, Hospitals
The Supreme Court directed complete removal of stray dogs from schools, hospitals, bus stands, and railway stations, prohibiting their return after sterilisation. Justices Mehta, Nath, and Anjaria also ordered States, UTs, civic bodies, and the National Highway Authority to remove stray cattle from roads and set up highway patrol teams to shift them to shelter homes.
