IMD Issues Orange Alert For Mumbai Today

The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for Mumbai today and has forecast heavy rain with gusty winds in Thane, Raigad, Palghar, and Ratnagiri. The relentless downpour has caused waterlogging and traffic disruptions across the city. Local trains have been cancelled, schools have been closed, and low-lying areas have turned into ponds. So far, 21 people have lost their lives due to the rains.
