Satish Golcha Appointed New Delhi Police Commissioner
Satish Golcha, a 1992-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as Delhi Police Commissioner, replacing SBK Singh after 21 days in the role. Golcha was Director General (Prisons), Delhi, and previously served as DCP, Joint Commissioner, and Special Commissioner. Known for handling the 2020 Delhi riots, he also led Arunachal Pradesh Police until mid-2023.
