SC To Hear Bail Pleas In Riots 2020 Case Today
The Supreme Court will continue hearing the Delhi Police’s appeal against granting bail to Sharjeel Imam, Umar Khalid, and others accused under UAPA in the 2020 Delhi riots case. Police argue the violence was a planned conspiracy, citing speeches, WhatsApp chats, and videos as evidence. The Delhi High Court had earlier denied bail to all the accused.
