Supreme Court To Rule On Bill Approval Deadlines Today
The Supreme Court will today deliver its verdict on whether fixed timelines can be mandated for the President and Governors to approve Bills. A five-judge Constitution Bench led by Chief Justice BR Gavai will rule on the issue, stemming from Tamil Nadu's plea challenging Governor RN Ravi's decision to refer a state amendment Bill to the President.
