Bihar Polls: Thousands Of Postal Votes Declared Invalid

The Election Commission has stated that in Bihar’s assembly elections, nearly 24,000 of 2.01 lakh postal ballots were rejected, marking an 11.87% rejection rate. Out of 5.02 crore total votes, 9.34 lakh were invalid, and NOTA received 9.1 lakh votes. Voter turnout reached a record 67.25%, with women voters outnumbering men.
