India-China To Resume Direct Flights, Border Trade
India and China agreed to resume direct flights soon, finalize an updated Air Services Agreement, and ease visas for tourists, businesses, and media. They will reopen border trade via Lipulekh, Shipki La, and Nathu La, expand the Kailash-Manasarovar pilgrimage from 2026, and establish new mechanisms for boundary issues and de-escalation talks.
