Farmers' Loans Across India Total ₹31.34 Lakh Crore
The central govt has revealed that total farmers' loans across India stand at ₹31.34 lakh crore, including ₹16.34 lakh crore in crop loans and ₹15 lakh crore in term loans. Tamil Nadu leads with ₹5.06 lakh crore, followed by Maharashtra, AP, UP, Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat. These figures highlight the significant credit exposure of farmers nationwide.
