Central Govt Sets Final Deadline For Unified Pension Scheme
The Union Finance Ministry has set Nov 30 as the final deadline for central govt employees to opt for the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS). The date, originally Sept 30, was extended to Nov 30. Also, households with pensioners must ensure submission of their life certificates by the same deadline to avoid disruptions in pension disbursal.
