Nitish Kumar Moves Toward Dissolution Of Bihar Assembly
Bihar’s outgoing NDA cabinet authorised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to recommend dissolving the assembly. The resolution passed unanimously in a brief meeting. Kumar then informed Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and will submit his resignation on November 19. The NDA recently secured over 200 seats in the 243-member House, with BJP winning 89 and JD(U) 85.
