CJI Gavai Responds Firmly To Allegations Against Judges
Chief Justice BR Gavai today criticized the rising trend of scandalous allegations against judges when orders are unfavorable. Hearing the N Peddi Raju contempt case, he emphasized lawyers' duty to the court and warned against making baseless claims. While accepting Raju's apology, Gavai stressed such practices must be strongly deprecated to uphold judicial dignity.
